La storia di due giovani studi di design italiano si incontrano in un unico materiale, antico e versatile come la ceramica, ognuno con il proprio background culturale ma entrambi con la volontà di proporre un modo diverso di interpretare gli oggetti del quotidiano, rigorosamente in edizione limitata.

Considering the interest from the media and the public, we decided
to run a small-serie production of 100 hand-numbered pieces in 2012.
Entirely handcrafted in Italy, it features a ceramic body and a glass diffuser.
Fully dimmable, and equipped with a touch sensor.

Sovrappensiero Design Studio launches an exclusive limited edition of 200 numbered handmade ceramic buoys
realized in collaboration with the Milanese craft laboratory of ceramic Puzzo.
Reference point for navigation and a symbol of safe berth for boats, the buoy crystallizes its shapes and its significance
in the ceramic to enter our private habitat, where even surfaces of wood and stone may become liquid.
An emotional object exceeding the limits of rationality to donate a moment of suspension by the daily life.
The ceramic, ancient and extremely versatile material, is enamelled first with immersion and then with spray.
Creativity is combined to savoir faire to give a contemporary identity to the production.
