Appena presentato al Downtown Independent Theater di Los Angeles all’interno del Levi’s Film Workshop, “Unbeleafable” il primo skate film in 3D prodotto dalla label  Girl Skateboards di Spike Jonze e diretto dal leggendario Ty Evans.  Presenti in sala oltre a un pubblico dai 9 ai 50 anni, anche le skate stars Rick Koston, Mike Carrol, Rick Howard, Kenny Anderson , con i filmmakers Federico Vitetta and Martino Properzi della casa di produzione Filmmakers Entertainment. Nata a Milano, la Filmmakers Entertainment si trasferisce nel 2003 a Venice Beach in California, ampliando tecniche e storie al limite del “categorizzabile”, dalle arti visive a tematiche contemporanee. Attualmente executive producers per Girl Skateboards  Films, porteranno Unbeleafable a spasso con il tour  Art in the Street. Prossima data Parigi per il  Public Domaine Skateboard Culture Exhibition al teatro La Gaîté Lyrique. Public Domaine (con la “e” finale in omaggio a un video di Stacy Peralta alla fine degli anni 80) è probabilmente il più importante festival SKART ( skate + art),  organizzato tra gli altri da  Fred Mortagne (aka French Fred,  skateboarding filmmaker) si svolgerà fino al 7 Agosto con una serie imperdibile di eventi skate.

“Skateboarding non è solo uno sport , un’attività, un hobby o un mezzo di spostamento” dice Federico “attraverso gli anni la cultura skateboard si è radicata arricchendosi di connessioni estetiche con la musica, il design, la pittura, l’architettura, la fotografica, i DJs… questo giorno celebra tutte le forme d’arte che hanno scelto board e quattro ruote come mezzo di espressione.”

The Levi’s Film Workshop hosted at Downtown Independent Theater LA the World Premiere of Unbeleafable 3D Skate Film and Girl Skateboards Retrospective, produced under Spike Jonze’s label and directed by the legendary Ty Evans.  The theater was filled with people ranging in age from 9 to 50, and above all with the skate stars – Rick Koston, Mike Carrol, Rick Howard, Kenny Anderson invited to the premiere by Federico Vitetta and Martino Properzi, from Filmmakers  Entertainment and executive producers for Girl Skateboards Films. Founded in Milan, Italy, in 2003 the production company Filmmakers Entertainment moved its headquarter to Venice Beach CA, creates videos and visual arts materials on intriguing stories and contemporary themes.  Federico and Martino are going to take their skate films to the next city for the Art in the Street tour, which is going to be Paris, at the Public Domaine Skateboard Culture Exhibition, at La Gaîté Lyrique theater.  Public Domaine (with an ‘e,’ being the name of one of the videos produced by Stacy Peralta in the late 1980s) organized also by Fred Mortagne (aka French Fred, a known skateboarding modern filmmaker) is probably the international biggest SKART (skate + art) show. It will take place until August 7th with  a huge unmissable skateboard series of events.

“Skateboarding is much more than a sport, an activity,” Federico says, “a hobby or a way to travel. Over the years the skateboarding culture has been built with a changing and rich aesthetic, mingling all of its expression forms as far as music, design, paintings, architecture, photography artists, DJs… and this day celebrates the tribute to a bunch of art forms that have chosen THE BOARD and 4 WHEELS as a medium of expression.”
