Things to see in Milan #3

Visiting Milan during Expo 2015 is a great occasion to discover  ancient buildings and museums. This route is for arts and ethnic food  lovers.

11 AM Breakfast at  Pavè (Via Felice Casati 27) – This place looks like a confort living room so you can take your time relaxing drinking a good cappucino and tasting a sweet brioche before starting your tour around.

12.00 noon Tour Palazzi Liberty – There are hundreds Art Noveau’s  buildings in Milan but the most beautiful are in the Porta Venezia area. Book a tour of this incredible neighborhood to discover the elegant and  enchanting Liberty style.

2 PM Villa Necchi Campiglio (Via Mozart). An example of perfect preservation of a thirties villa, designed by Piero Portaluppi. Necchi’s family lived in this villa collecting pieces of contemporary art, sculptures,  paintings from the greatest exponents of Italian Futurism, next to object from all over the word.  A stunning beauty place.

3 PM Kebab da Nun – Time for a Kebab at Via Lazzaro Spallanzani, 36. Milan is full of places where eat a kebab but at Nun you can taste the better ones!

4 PM The Art Markets – Exhibitions, magazines and art books. Design and contemporary culture will be your diversion.

6 PM Visit GAM – (Gallery of modern Art) and PAC (Contemporary Art pavillon). After this immersion in modern art, take a break in the Palestro garden between the two museums.

8 PM Alhambra ristorante veg –  (via San Gregorio 17) A place where you can eat very healthy but also really tasty and spicy in real Indian style. All courses are served with green tea or Italian wine. Don’t arrive too late because the place is small.

10 PM Nottingham Forest – Enjoy a molecular cocktail served in a coco nuts in one of the most famous cocktail bar of Milan (recently added in the “great 50 bars of the world” list ) .
